A very favorable cervix...

We had another Dr. appointment today and things are moving along. I am a little over 2cm dilated and 75% effaced. Last week I was 1cm and not very effaced at all.  The Dr. stripped the membranes and said that my cervix is very favorable meaning it is doing what it should to move things along and bring Jackson here soon!

We set up an induction for Wednesday, October 1st but he could really come on his own any time now.

Marty is hoping he will come before the Mariner season is over so they can watch a game together. We will see what Jackson decides to do!!

Jason Wright update..

They took Jason off of life support on Sunday and were able to donate many of his organs. It is VERY sad but the family is receiving a lot of support through prayer and service from those around them.

This family is truly amazing. To have to be faced with the decision of when to take someone you love so much off life support, I can't imagine. But through their grief they decided they wanted their tragedy to have SOME positive outcome so they made the decision to donate his organs to save others' lives. What amazing people.

Thank you to those of you have have been thinking and praying for the family, I know they have felt the prayers!

Hold your loved ones close and make sure they know how much you love them, you really never know what is going to happen in life so we must cherish every minute of it!

James' bedtime prayer

My sister in law, Frankie, sent me an email to let me know that my nephew picked me to pray for last night. Each night he picks someone to pray for and last he prayed, "I pray you help Auntie Anna sleep well and get the baby out of her tummy so she sleeps good."
What a sweet little boy, I adore him so much!

Here is James being a goofball in his Mario shirt that we bought for him.

Updates

I blogged a few days ago about my friends brother who was in a car accident. Basically the worst has been confirmed, Jason has no hope of survival so it's just a matter of time. I can't even imagine what Jason's wife is going through; being just a few months away from welcoming a baby into the world and will have to do it without her husband, it just breaks my heart. This whole week I was extra nervous while Marty was commuting. You never expect these things to happen, so when you hear stories like Jason's it magnifies your worst fears. Please continue to pray for the Wright family during this time and thank you for your prayers thus far!

On a more positive note- I am 39 weeks prego tomorrow, that is weird to say because I can't believe how fast time has gone. I am 1 cm dilated as of early this week and have lost my mucus plug. That might be more information then some of you want to know but I keep getting asked for all the details so..... there they are thus far!

Hope you all had a great week and are having a wonderful weekend!

Please Pray...

For those of you who believe in the power of prayer, it is much needed for the family of a friend...

Our friend Sandra's younger brother, Jason, was in a terrible accident on Saturday night. He was life flighted to Eugene where he was given a 0% chance of survival, then life flighted to OHSU for a second option which ended up being the same. The doctors say he had such severe whip lash that it ripped all of his nerves from his brain stem... They were basically told it was a matter of time. He is young, married, and expecting a baby in two months. On Sunday morning a 5th doctor looked at his CT scan and said he didn't see the SAME thing the other doctors did and that there was a glimmer of hope. They will know more on Tuesday when they can do an MRI.

Prayer is much needed and appreciated. I know and firmly believe that with God anything can happen. I will do my best to keep you posted.

A friend showed me this website and of course, I had to spend a decent chunk of time playing around. I was laughing pretty hard while creating these photos. Too funny! The photos got a little cut off because of the blog layout but I didn't want to mess with it.. You can see enough though! These couples should produce some cute kids one day!! haha!

The Belly...

It keeps growing and growing....

Cute kids!

Marty and I adore our niece and nephews. We now live about 10 minutes away from my brother and sister in law so we get to see our nephews, James and Ronnie, quite a bit. I actually take care of Ronnie two days a week while my brother has class and WAS also taking care of James those same days until he started pre-school. James just turned 5 on Monday which is still very crazy to me. Through the unpacking process I found a few pictures of when he was a chubby little baby and can't believe what a big boy he is now! Ronnie is almost 9 months old and such a busy little boy, he is literally all over the place and gets around super fast. He and James both have such fun personalities and keep us entertained!

Kayla is in 5th grade this year and I can't believe it. Next year she will be in JR High which really freaks me out. I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday! Kayla turns 11 in December which is just weird to say because in my mind I feel like she should be that cute little 3 year old singing and dancing around the house in her underwear!

Here are a few photos of two of the cutest boys in the world. I don't have a current photo of Kayla but will post one as soon as I get her school photo or actually take one myself. I FINALLY got a new camera charger last week after having lost my old one over a year ago...
