Our first blog entry...

Hello all and thank you for checking out our blog. We are not strangers to the world of blogging and love reading updates on our family and friends through their blogs. After being told several times that we should blog we FINALLY gave in and here we are! 

We have been married for almost 7 months now and love being married. We are living in Wilsonville, OR where Marty is working at Community of Hope Lutheran Church. We both really like the church and Marty LOVES his job!  Anna is finishing up her last year at Concordia University. (She would have finished last year but took a year off in 2005)

We are still recovering from a crazy, but fabulous holiday break. Anna was off of school for about 3 and a half weeks and Marty had a lot of time off due to the holidays. We spent a lot of time bouncing around between each of our parents houses and spending time with friends. We both place a a lot of value on family so it was nice to get to just hang out with each of our families. Our good friends, Mike and Carol DeDominick, who are currently living in North Carolina came to visit so we had a little friend reunion of sorts with our other friends Eric and Char. We were not ready for the holidays to be over and never really are but we are getting back into the swing of things and STILL catching up on laundry!
